"Photography has been a life long passion with my art work regularly shown in Europe. As a visual artist I also follow the New Topographics approach1. In April 2023 my first photobook “Quand même / Anyway /Trotzdem” was published.
In my documentary work, I focus on hyperlocal storytelling, and on environmental and socio-economic stories with global dimension. During several years I worked as a still photographer for feature films and the WDR (German Public TV).
I'm of German origin and I live in Toulouse and Cologne. Since 2022 I have re-dedicated myself to professional photography being mentored by Ed Kashi. He invited me to take part in the 1in6by2030 project on global ageing."
